Plus I don't like DD since they are so god **** inefficient

recommended tuning of +38Hz = MEH

if you can get the 8w7 for less than $150 new thats an outstanding price but as far as efficency, the w7 is 82.7db and the 1508 is 85.5 db- according to both manufactures websites.

so if you dont like dd cause there so inefficient then how could you like the 8w7 based on your own words?

fiy, i have my 1508 tuned around 35hz and it blew away the 8w7 that we tested it with.

then why cant you power a FI sub with that amp??

DD makes good subs, those jls are nice little monsters, if i where you i would look around more before buying jl or RF.

hmmm, i find that highly unlikely...i doubt that 2 13w7's could take that much power.

i own 2 12w7s and i like the DD subs better....had a friend who has one DD 3518 who was puttin out 148db
