3 cvr 12's or 2 ti 15's

Would two Phoenix Gold TI15's out perform my 3 cvr 12s. I like about a 50/50 mix between sq and spl. This is also going in an explorer. I am just looking for opinions. All info is welcome

I have to give respect to the cvr's IMO they put out a overall better quality sound and get loud sealed. I think the cvr's would also be louder, they have cone area on the phoenix gold and combined can swallow more wattage

i say go with the 2 15's should be plenty loud. im biased too because i have pg ti subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif throw those subs about 400rms to each and you should be set.

mmmmmm, Ti 15's. I've heard of people giving them up to 1000 watts each. The RMS for the 15's is 550 watts, so you'll want to give them at least that, allthough they do get pretty loud with low power. Also...i am somewhat biased too. But if you're going fo 50/50, I think the Ti's would be a better choice, and 2 15's will be very loud.
