can the lanzar amp handle 3 type r? should i get it in parallel or in series? and is it possible if i make 2 type r mounted in the conventional way the the other one inverted? if possible, should i go for sealed or ported? thanks...

1) someone told me that putting 3 type r in parallel will yield a 1.66 ohm, but then someone showed me a chart from alpine 1241 manual that shows 3 type r in parallel yield 2.6 ohm... which one is right??? ps: i gonna use lanzar opti2000d amp...

2) which one is louder? 2 Lanzar OPTI1234D or 3 Alpine SWR-1242D? both will be powered by Lanzar OPTI2000D...

I have heard both. I would do the opti's. If you really want to shine. Dont do the 3 alpine's. Get 2 of the big boy opti 15" subs. I think they can be picked up for under 200 bucks each on ike sound even know I hate ikesound, lol! But you will be slamming hard for sure. That is a good amp buy the way.
