i own a 1989 cutlass calais 4 door and it has 6X9's in the trunk and i had to take them out to fit my 12" kicker so really the only mids and highs are comming from 2 stock 3.5's. i want a pretty loud 3.5 but i am more into sound quality can someone give me a suggestion?

I have some infinity kappas I am willing to sell. They are pretty good. I upgraded to 5.25s in the doors from lack of midbass. I can you those infinities if you want to give it a whirl.

jl audio TR400cxi's have AWESOME midbass response for such a small speaker. very impressive for small drivers...

or spend a day and build some kickpanels for 6.5 components.
