I'm taking weightlifting this semester for gen ed requirements and I'm 1 over my allowed absences, so to erase 1 we were allowed to run in this 5k race this morning for charity.
I planned on somewhat training before the event, but yeah that never happened.
I couldn't believe how out of shape I was. I think I got a little over a mile and started walking, I know I started way too quick, I had no idea what a good pace was, but either way I wasn't making it the whole way. Serves as a good wake up call that I need to get back in shape.
Probably didn't help I got crunk last night and went 9-1 in beer pong.
