3 16kv2s + 3 NINe.2

So what do you think? Three ed 16kv2s in either a sealed or ported box in a yukon denali with three ed nine.2's. Im going to build my friend a system and for the price I thought this would be the loudest.

How much strain do you think three nine.2s would put on his electrical system? I figure hes going to need at least a yellow top and the big three. You think that would be enough?

Any other system you can think of for about 700 that would be similar or superior? The WOW appeal is kind of important so a single sub setup probably isnt an option. Thanks.

why dont you just get 1 or 2 nine.1's instead?

did you say you want the setup to be 700 or under? 3 nine.2's is pretty close to 700 by itself....

you can wire 3three dual 2 ohm 16kv2's series and make it 1.3 ohms which would make the nine.1 give out almost 1500 watts....and the nine.2's bridged would give it around...300-500 watts each? doesnt make sense to get 3 nine.2's in there unless you just want to do it that way for fun....

I just realized that I could stack 2 nine.1 for about 2400w which would be perfect. I just emailed ed to see if they could work out a package deal on all that. If they can knock a little off the price ill probably do that.

Also, ed has a 16kv2 plus nine.2 combo for 250. 3 of them would be 750. Hopefully they can come up with a price close to that for 3 i6kv2s and 2 nine.1s

fast reply! yea you are right...you can also stack 2 nine.1's if you want even more power..but yea...i added something to my post but you posted before i was finshed.....the two nine.1's should definately be worth the upgrade over 3 nine.2's. goodluck

I dont think the nine.1 would put out that close to 1500w though. I fi had to guess Id say more like 1200w at 1.33 ohm but 2of those stacked would be perfect for 3 16kv2s. Afterall, it would give them 800w each.

Now do I want to go ported or sealed with these? SQ is important, but I am hoping that I can make this system hit harder than 4 12" kicker comps and 3 powerbass 15s.
