3 12 re mx's vs 3 Si mag 12's

Im just wondering which set of the subs i should chose between....I can get three of the mags for roughly 200 cheaper than the mx's.......what would any of you suggest

Even though I have no experience with the new mags or the MX's.Just going by the company strictly here.I'd say SI > RE

ok was more than likely gonna do this either way but how many watts should i power them with.......im thinking somewhere around 3500 wattts rms.......i really wanted 2 do 2 orion 2500D's strapped but i think thats overkill

Give each mag around 1000rms and that would be perfect

Man that would be way expensive. I would go with Hifonics Gen XX, Powerbass a3000d(i think thats what it is) or an IA 20.1

an ia 20.1 costs around 900 rite and isnt it just a 2000 watt amp......i was thinking about a xx goliath for around 700....i dont know how much the powerbass is

it would be more expensive than 3 JL 1000/1's but i would worship you, or atleast your amps.

dont forget, THREE dual 2's = 0.33333ohm OR 3ohm

if it were me, id find three 1ohm 1kw amps that have a digital strap to interface all the gains\crossover\signal to each of them. the 20.1 will handle .33 ohms, but id not want to be running that daily. just because im a freak and that would make me nervous lol.

but thats just me.

with impeadance rise 0.33 ohm nominmal rises to over 1ohm at most frequincies above tuning. Just play it safe though.
