I'm thinking about using my two 2500Ds to power both my 12.4 H2s. Since I already had the subs in dual 4 ohm flavor running 1 amp on each sub would only yield a 2ohm load to the amp (if my math checks out). In my attachment is the wiring diagram for my idea. Would this setup still show a 1ohm load to each amp while delivering ~2500w(max) to each sub?

considering that 1 sub is wired out of phase, your going to fry some stuff really fast. is that how the orions strap together? are they even strappable

The manual says that the 600d and 1200d can be strapped but the 2500d can't...

"The Orion 2500d is not designed to work in a bridged or strapped configuration. Attempting to apply these configurations will damage the amplifier and will not be covered under warranty."

Edit: Damm you i3abyjay25, I type too slow... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Well it 'can' be strapped(ask Shane) but I wouldn't suggest it and neither would he. Stapping a pair of 1200D's would output more power than the 2500D anyways, unless you REALLY start dropping the load.

Maybe ask RF tech support. I wasn’t able to find that either. Sonic electronics and Crutchfield just use the same description as the rf site. True...
