2x Sundown Sa8V2 in ported box - barely any output...

it really sounds like one is just out of phase, and in reality 1200rms is a bit on the low side for a pair of v.2's, ive got a saz 1500 at .5 on my pair... (they do work)

also what are the specs for the enclosure, and what car is it in, when it comes to those little subs they can be very picky about what you put them in.

A better option would be to just pull both subs and look at all the wiring. A DMM would help as well.

Ya I'm talking about Aaron. The subs actually were wired up wrong in the box... I didn't get to play with it much but it did hit harder once I wired it like the diagram in the amp manual. Multimeter was reading 5.8 ohms before and 3.8 after.

He was in a hurry when he wired it up so I guess we do all make mistakes!

I'm going to play with it tomorrow and report back.

Awesome! I did this once 100 years ago with some Pyle Drivers. They were loud! And I removed them from a box to a better one and wired them wrong.. Took forever to figure out..
