2re8's or id8v3 off of jl 250/1

not asking which sub, but asking if it would be too little amp to run the 8's. Getting rid of the 12w3 in hopes of reclaiming space for my mtn bike. Both 8's will be in separate sealed enclsures fabricated to run over the rear wheel wells in my suv. dual vc wired at overall 4ohm........250/1 enough? looking for tight and punch, rock is primary....then 80's.

I love the ID, 250 watts is more than enough, would be a nice set up
