According to JVC tech support and JVC's official iPod adapter compatibility page neither is the 8500. Im still sure its 2 way active + sub. The only difference between the 7500 and the 8500 is that the 8500 internal amp does 35 or 40x4@4, and the 7500 did like 20x4@4.

there is a little more difference than that as I had the 7500 2x but really wanted the 8500. still this is a nice deck. I almost wanted to take it.

People are broke bitches. They think this is some sort of auction house so they compare all prices to eBay. I tell those ones to fvck off. Took me 7 pages to get rid of an Eclipse CD7000 in near mint condition with the IPC106 and GPS105 both in MINT condition with original boxes and serial numbers and I was only asking $300 shipped for all of it.

It is ridiculous, but I dont blame them for wanting a deal, but I already made it a deal IMO....I guess someone will eventually buy my stuff and like you will take some time. If not for someone else that did business on here, I would still have my bass amp.....

Maybe it will sell the closer it gets to Christmas, if not......maybe I will get back into it next year, lol! All I would need is a bass amp.
