Im looking for something in the range on 2000-2500W to run my Treo SSX daily. I want to keep it cheap, like $200-$300. What should I be looking for? What brands should I steer clear of cause there are tons of amps on ebay but im not sure if they are just shit.

Some people (like myself) don't like the 20.1. Just my opinion.

The PAs are overrated, yes. The A3000db does about 1800-2000 depending. I've had 2 so far that were about 1800, but it really has varied by amp from what I've seen. I've had one in the past that was almost the rated RMS. 2200W@1. Generally they average range from 1800-2000@1 and a tiny bit more at .5. It's nice that they are .5 stable.

Edit: This is why I bench test the ones I sell.

you could look at the Audiopipe ap30001d. it's not crap. but it is a nice budget amp that has cheap power and puts out rated, from what I hear. I'm running one, but I only need 1300 watts. and it's doing that easily.

Yeah I can get one for $300 with 10min. of playing time.

I can also get an Alphasonik pma1200da it does 2470 rms at 1 ohm, 2k at 2 and 1500 at 4, 4800 max for $270 shipped. Never have heard of them, do they do rated?

i would get the audiopipe amp....it a solid , and its within your budget...

I've seen those Alphasonik amps on ebay, they look nice and have some interesting features. But I don't know anything about them if they can do rated or not.
