29hz to 32hz

Well I play mostly decafs songs and if they drop under 30 its breifly. I have an 18" nightshade the box is about 5.3 cubes. I want to be louder to the ear while still moving alot of air

Then why not do a sealed box, because,

Isn't the point of a ported box to have a boost in a certain range of frequencies? Because if you're getting a flat response, the boost would be gone.
It's boosted output over a sealed box throughout most of the response curve over 20hz, so it's still boosted. I don't think the ported box is supposed to over exaggerate certain frequencies so that they stand out over others, but it's supposed to bring up the bottom end that sealed boxes generally lack...just my opinion.

Most people on this site just want loud. Tuning mid fourties or upper 30' tend to do that on music. Huge hump where 99% of the bass is on most music, albiet you lose extension down low as well as most musical ability minus a one note wonder type of sound. Anyway I also prefer tuning low for the most part, depends on the overall response curve of the woofe though, some are different than others. Anyway the actual "point of a ported box is to give you a boost somewhere. Whether that's a little extra bottom end to combat a slight drop just before you run out of extension in a sealed woofer, or a big hump in the middle of the band is up to you. I do tend to find it funny that so many people talk about bass boost making things sound like crap and then tuning at 40hz. After all, what frequency does "bass boost" normally increase? Anyway an acual kick drum doesn't have any real 40hz extension, that's added in by some artists to make their rock songs have bass for most setups that have no actual output capacity above 60hz.

edit: I'm aware that bass boost can cause clipping, but properly setup within limits is the same type of added response as tuning high.

Anyway 29-32 wont' be a huge change in your overall response. 29hz does help negate the need for a subsonic filter though, which is usually a good thing. Going to 32 you may find yourself bottoming out on some things, just a few hz can really make a difference when it comes to that since excursion below tuning increases very fast.
