Do high pass filters on the head unit effect the rcas? On my headunit I got it set at 80 for my mids and highs but it dosent effect the sub out. Does it effect the

front rear rca?

yes they do..HPF's effect your front and rear out, LPF effect your sub out..if im not mistaken that HU should have both

yes it would cuz ure talking about going 3 way active and setting everything from the HU...HU that have a 3 way active option are a bit more up the scale then that pioneer..i had a 4800, and what ure thinking of doing isnt doable..power everything via amp using a passive xover and ure set, or go full active
