You would more than likely receive much better results, with a small box and lots of power. If you're interested I could give you plans for my SPL pressure box for 15's... designed by Scottie when I went to his place for a weekend of SPL...

It's small, simple, and allows you to change tuning somewhat easily to maximize SPL.

If this fails, it's back to the drawing board. But I wanted a box that I can build port plug for daily driving. Thats my first goal. This one fit the bill.

My only thing about this is, people seem to forget the Icon is an SQ sub first and foremost. Mark is doing this for fun as an exercise push the limits. We do have something in the future to address the high output people.
