hey. for 300 CDN (~265 USD) someone is selling an arc audio kar 1000.2T in great condition

its going to power my type r 12 d4 at 2 ohms (1000 rms @ 2 ohms)

is it worth it?

I can tell you one thing, both will make them pound, i'm sure the quality of the outsourced ARC amps is still pretty **** good

Yeah, Id say its worth it. Ive never, ever read anything bad about Arc amps, that has to tell you something.

If you really want a 9.1, I think theres a couple in the classifieds. Only advantage to that I can see is the warranty.

the memphis cost 50 more and ill have to drive about 50 minutes, the arc ill have to drive 10 min

iirc class T is full range, yet much more efficient than class a/b and also runs cooler. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. The PG tantrum 1200.1 was class T as well.

I know all about the T...just seeing if the ARC was a tripath.

you can search for the class T thread, it's somewhere around here.

Cliff notes, full range digital, more efficient than traditional Class D, but is really only a trademark of tripath, blah, blah, blah, Tucked away in a few manf.: Zapco, Avionixx, Arc, among others(depending on licensing, they may not mention it.)

Also known as the radio killer for it's FM interference. I've had and really liked my Avionixx 1200.2's and 800.4's.

I'd take the Arc for $265.

I saw one of those go for $190 BNIB on the *****-bay a little while ago. This could be completely illegitimate though. But yea, any Arc amp for

I don't remember for SURE, but someone had shielding around the chip. It may have been my multiple class t's, I don't know for sure. I haven't heard anyone talk about Arcs or Zaps having issues. Sorry I'm not much help there.
