called mechman, it will fit the grand marquis supposedly if yours has a black cover on it? (stock one im guessing) but im not sure about that. its a big style one.

I'd have to look for sure, but I know mine sits right out front. Plenty of room where it is. Was he saying a black cover over the engine, or actually over the Alt???
