2500D problems

I just got another 2500d and hooked one supply up just to make sure it wasnt Doa and it barely moved my sub is this common for having only one power supply hooked up shortly after that it goes into protection. i would hook both up but i dont have my car only my g/fs.

it should be very quiet with only 1 side hooked up, from what i've been told the amp is bridged internal and is actually made up of 2 1200d's strapped, thats why the 2500d isin't strapable... hope you didn't mess it up any

yes they are internally bridged for sub hookups but im not sure internally, or that its 2 1200D's strapped. make sure you hook both sides of inputs up, if not youll damage the amplifier.

alright ill hook them up i just needed a little test and the amps like barely doing a thing could it already be screwed up just from buying it used? or is it really that quiet with one set of powers?

alright so i hooked the 2500d up (both supplys) and my g/fs 10" eclipse 7101 was better then my type Xs it was wired up at 1ohm. Is it easy to say this amp is screwed?

Yeah i guess thats true just needed to get it hooked up to see if it worked never slammed it or anything.

and i got it for 320 i think off ebay.

anyone know any good repair places?

well i asked the guy how he tested it and he said he ran one supply and it worked on his w6 so i have no idea where it got messed up.

You may have damaged it yourself by hooking up only 1 power supply and letting it go into protect, Orion strictly states in the manual not to do that.
