Item(s) for Sale:

It's a 250 amp CS144d alternator with external voltage regulator. Originally purchased from EA, had some parts upgraded and rebuilt by Mechman. There's a screw on the back of the alternator to give 14-20 volts of love. It's a bolton for the 2.2/2200 Cavalier/Sunfire/S10 and I'm not sure about any other vehicles.

Looks like it should fit the following as well:

Used On:

(2005-03) AM General Hummer 6.0L

(2005-04) Buick Rainier 5.3L

(2004-02) Cadillac Escalade 5.3L, 6.0L

Unfortunately no. I have enough tunes to keep me busy for quite some time.

i have the DC XP 270 amp version of this alt. it bolts on to sunfire and cavaliers also?
It was on my 1997 Sunfire with the 2.2 - I had to remove the bracket that was there and use a long 3/8 inch bolt at the top. Worked perfect. It'll fit all 2.2/2200 Sunfires and Cavaliers and a bunch of GM fullsize, S10s, heck I've even seen guys with tacos and CJ's use this alt since it fits.

really? wow i never knew that, the reason i ask is because im selling my 4.3 liter silverado and im looking to get something with better gas mileage strictly for audioz, so i was wondering what all it fits. lol thanks for the info man, the harness and everything is the same?

Since this has an adjustable regulator, no harness is needed. There's a set screw in the back in picture #1 to adjust the voltage. Some vehicles might show the idiot light on the dash but it won't affect anything. The Sunfire is for sale too!

so say a alt will fit on a car, but you cant plug the harness in because it dosent match, will it still charge? minus the back that the light will be on, on the dash? sorry for cluttering your thread man ill PM you if ya want.
