I want to sound deaden my extended cab tundra. Right now i have 40ft^2 on the inside of all 4 doors (not the part the speakers mount to). I want to add more to the doors, deaden the floor, back wall, and probably one layer on the roof. I am trying to decide what to get, and whether or not i should get ensolite.

Ive been thinking about getting 2 rolls of raamat, 3 yards (42 sq ft) of ensolite, and a bottle of the adhesive for 302 shipped... but i could get like 240ft^2 of edead for that price...

Does it start to smell or what? I plan on deading my truck some time in the future

Yea I did an install on my old blazer with edead and after a few months in the hot summer the corners and edges started to peel up.

exactly,the butyl is not good at holding up when the temps go up

I had some on the rear quarter panels. The edead was almost copletly off.

The goo is not stuck to the inside panels of my car

Thats sucks, All that work just for it not to work!
