24db vs 12db???

I have an amp with those 2 options for high-pass and low-pass.

I'm using high-pass but what should it be set at? 12db or 24db?

Also whats the difference?

This is the one thing I've never really looked into or know about

Amp is a xtant 604x

its running a set of infinity kappa 60.7s components, i also wanted to brigde these to front and rear but dont know if the amp is 20hm stable bridged or how to bridge it.

Its how sharp/steep it will be.. how hard do you want it to cut off?

The thing is dont know what its high passed at...

I think I'll leave it at 12db since it sounds good to me, I'll try 24db and see if i notice a difference. I just want it to blend smoothly with my sub which i have low passed at around 70hz.

If it's crossed to almost as low is it's designed to play, then your speaker will notice a 12 to 24.
