2250w WAAAY to much for two 500wRMS subs?

contemplating buying this planet audio amp, need something to power my eclipse's. and also, this amp leaves room for an upgrade. if i keep the gain WAAAAAY down, should i be ok? and im only running 4GA ATM. is this ok for now? or do i need a bigger GA wire?

why not just leave the gain where it is and change the ohm load?

.. just becareful with your gains and you should be okay, you dont need to set them WAYY down, just set them carefully..

Just wire it two 4 ohms, and change the power wire you will have to anyway...

well the output is 800w @ 4ohms. i would like them to see atleast 1,100 watts. which leaves me with wiring it to 1ohm.

More power is better, keep the gain low and you'll be fine
