2250sx Power Needs

I'm installing a simple system in my 04 Mustang using one amp and passive crossovers. I have a 2250Sx laying around that I'm thinking of using but I'm concerned that I won't be able to provide the necessary amperage the amp requires. I've completed the "Big 3"and the car has a 130 amp alternator now. Do you think a gel cell battery in the trunk or a capacitor needs to be added? I'm not attempting a SPL monster just a nice dd system. If the amp requires more than I'm prepared to do, I may just use a more efficient amp. Any suggestions would be appreciated and thanks for the help.

With your alty and big 3 done, you should be good to go. Test it, and if you dim too much a battery in the trunk should do the trick.

Orion always recommended an additional battery for the 2250SX/XTR and the 2100 HCCA due to the current demands they are capable of. I would play it safe and add the additional battery it will do nothing but improve it's performance.
