very nice install, good work. did the owner want the box right there in the center of the cargo area? seems like it looks a lot of usable space that way?

It's the only place it would fit and still be able to use both seats. There isn't a lot of space behind the 3rd row seats on non EXL versions anyway.

It does gain, boost, center frequency and bandwidth.

How do the mids sound?

Tonality is really good, but they don't have much going on below 100hz. So they lack a little in the mid bass area.
