2006 Pontiac G6 GTP.. yay/nay?

If you're looking for practicality, get a civic.
ive been looking at civics for a long time.. We have NONE up here and I dont trust buying ANY car from Minneapolis / Saint Paul, I know how ppl drive down there, especially sporty type cars

I like my Civic Hybrid it averages 40mpg and I've seen as high as 50mpg a few times...you can't beat jap technology
i was looking at the Civic EXs.. The SI is temping but I keep have to tell myself, Practical.. If I bought a new civic, its going to be a 2012 because it will be the new 9th generation body style.. And a loaded EX can go for about 18-19K, BUt the Optima I linked above gets 33 mpg and looks to be the best of both worlds

i may trade in my hybrid for a 2012 model when they come out if it looks better
I was checking out a few Honda/Civic forums, and from what they have seen with spy pics ( which sometimes means nothing ) Is that the new one is alot like the old, but a bit wider and longer, with the spoiler set back a little farther, with a much better looking and quality interior..

One thing ppl are still complaining about is the fact that the Si is no longer the Compact powerhouse it was 5 yrs ago when the 8th gens came out, and they may still use the same K20 motor thats in the current Si, in the new one..

the civics seem to grow every generation....
