The finals were good and bad. For the money we all spent, I think we could have had a better location and organization of the event. The food was good except for the fact that some of us got shafted (we came first, got served last, got no BBQ chicken which was the highlight) and Steve never apologized. For the money I paid, I expected at least an apology, that tells a lot about someone's character.
Anyways, our team did great. Mike Elder got the DB5 world championship like he wanted with a 131.x. The run could've been better since he didn't get a good jump.
Snoopdan placed 2nd in S3 with a 154.6 I believe. During his second drive-by run, he was playing the Yo Gotti - I Got Em song (which I told him NOT to play) You could hear the higher notes, but when it dropped, all I can say is WOW. Everybody thought his fuse blew, but I was like nah, it's the sub. It messed up in testing on Friday, but not this badly. I'm not gonna say much or post pics of what happened unless Dan wants to himself, but lets just say the problems with the TC-3000 aluminum cone ain't got nothing on this.
Chad Riggs ended up taking 1st in both M2 and MR2 which he was really happy about.
I placed 2nd in AS1 (beaten by a CRX, go figure) with my trunk, and 3rd in DB1 losing to Tommy K and his truck and Justin Peach with his hatch. I'd say I did pretty well for a trunk and was the loudest DB in a trunk (I think).
I think Mike Huff (MD Audio) got the shaft. He posted a 164.xx and got protested saying the mic was off and the judges accepted it. That is what makes me sick. . .
Our team also got the Team Participation of the Year award which was nice also.

If you want pics of the gnarly TC 4hp, ask Dan. It's a sight to see!
