2005 Scion tC 5 Speed

Hey guys, just figured I'd put this out here for anyone interested. I'm trying to sell my wife's 2005 Scion tC. It has 22k on it, silver, has the TRD/Borla exhaust system, blue LED interior light kit, rear wing, and all service records. This car is a Mobil 1 car and has had it's oil changed every 3k. All new Kumho Ecsta ASX tires, windows tinted. Kelley Blue Book retail value is $19200, we're asking $17000 or best offer. The only flaws with the car are a small scratch on the back bumper, less than 1/2" long, and a very small nick on the leading edge of the hood, about the size of a grain of sand. If they bother you so much, I'll even throw in a tube of touch-up paint and fix them before delivery. I'm willing to deliver it within a 150 mile radius of Fayetteville, NC. May be your problem is that a brand new base tc is 17 gs according to thier website...why is yours blue book so high?

Actually, MSRP for a new one set up the way mine is with the options I have it's $19000. I have absolutely no idea why the blue book retail value for mine went UP. I do know that the local Scion dealer just sold a used one with more miles and less stuff for almost $20000!! I thought it was ridiculous too. But, like I said, it's $17000 or best offer, and around here $17000 is about mid way of what everyone else is asking for theirs. And again, BEST OFFER!!!!! Make me an offer, and if it's even close to what the bare minimum is that I'll accept, I'll more than likely take it. And if you live close to Fayetteville, NC, and want to inspect it and take it for a spin, feel free to contact me. The wife has mandated that if it's not sold by the end of the month, we're putting it up on eBay.

But I know, you're right, you can buy a stripped no options tC for $17000 brand new. But you can also buy mine for $17000 with all the options, and not have to deal with a salesperson. And mine has been very well cared for, and has all service receipts. Those go with the car. I don't want someone to buy it if they're not comfortable with it, so please, if you're interested, research the car. Search for a 2005 tC within a 200 mile radius of zip code 28304 and you will see my starting price is right on, and I'm willing to go lower, I just won't say how much lower!! And I'll even pay for a Carfax report for interested SERIOUS buyers.

Oh, and the custom subwoofer box goes with the car too. 3/4" MDF, 1.0 cubic feet for a single 10.
