Hey guys, I am going to tear out and start new.
This will be a on going project. However, a bulk of it should be done within' the next three days.
The further work done past the upcoming three days will most likely be redoing my work I do coming up, assuming I leave room for cleaning it up a bit.
I am just getting my nose into car audio, so please excuse me and any failures I am sure to have.
Items being installed :
Two Sundown SA-D4s
HiFonics Brutus 1700
(I have three of these, I will either run the SAs at 1 ohm at 850 each.. or dual Brutus at 2ohm 1200 each, might be going 1,200 each. getting that clean power, extra batt.. ect ect first //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif )
Headunit got put in awhile back, may be due for upgrade.
Goals with build is just pure SPL right now.
My friend who got me into car audio [ he didn't mean too] challenged me a while back, saying his system will blow away anything I ever get, he said. Despite him being sarcastic because he has CVRs, I jumped on his challenge and went home and spent $450 that same night on car audio.
I have evolved a bit, gained some knowledge, and with that being said, obviously I beat his prefab box on 450rms vs my single SA-12 on 1k at 35hz.
So, I am throwing this up tonight, even though I don't have a lot to post up right now, working on it tomorrow and will be taking pictures.
Today I got my 65 foot of 0/1, battery terminals, and my connectors in the mail.
I only got around to getting the battery terminals switched, stock wiring moved over.
Tomorrow goals are:
Big 3; framing the area from my trunk into my cabin, starting my new box, getting volt meter installed [ assuming it comes in the mail tomorrow]
A friend recommend 3 cubes at 33hz for two Sa-12s for SPL, I have a box I built a while back at 4.2cubes at 35hz, i am going to run that and see how that sounds. I will be finding out what I like, and making a box and hopefully getting it mounted up and sealed.
