2004 300m H/U...noise

I recentley finished install of an eclispe xa5000 amp, powering kappa component set=front and kappa 3way= rear deck using the supplied x-overs to door sails and rear doors and center..via front woofer +/- terminals and a 12" Ma audio sub.

also a clarion 746eq installed in glove box...The problem I'm having is when connecting the schose line out converter to the system via the clarion...I'm getting a hiss from the converter..when not connected noise level is zero...now this hiss is present even when the H/U vol is zero or 1/2 gain...the converter is the problem or is the Factory H/U designed to put out a low level signal to factory infinity (11 spk..360watt systems amp)if so...connecting the H/U directly to the clarion may solve the problem.....Any thoughts Anyone....Thx.

its the factory HU. my friend also tried to keep the factory HU. he wanted a lil more sound so we added an eq but that made it worse so..... he had an alpine deck install'd and no more problems...

Hey thx for feed Tc...But I'd really would like to keep the fact..H/U...I just needed to know if this head unit is design to output a low level signal via the spkr outputs...f/r-l/r...to the infinity factory amp, if so a line converter may not be needed.....Thoughts...??
