2002 rockford fosgate power 1000bd protect mode?

hey guyz i could use some opinions from u lol...so i found this amp at work last week...its old but its in good condition...so today i went to try it out and it turned on but went into protect mode...i opened it up(i kan email u guyz pics) and everything looks fine...is this amp worth gettn repaired? can it even be repaired? i appreciate any help u guyz kan give me...im new to this so i kan use some tips...let me know!!! thanx

try breakin it down to its basic state and everything if nothing then get a quote on it for repair, if it cost to much, get another amp.

my soundstream amp does the same thing, havent gotten around to fixin it yet..

yea im just waitin on dbr electronix quote to fix da amp...its an old amp and itz in good condition(8.5/10) so its worth a try...if its too much though ile just get a new sundown 1500d and sell dat one for parts or sumin

So i got the quote from db-r electronics...its 150-175 to repair...i dont think this amp is worth gettn repaired...i guess ile just hav to sell it real cheap for parts...man dat sukz
