2002 Ford Escape Big 3

So I went to start upgrading wiring today and already ran into a problem. The ground wire which is probably only 8-7 gauge Runs to a small ground than the wire continues into a harness towards the back of the engine. Anyone know where that ends up? Or should I leave that ground and add a new one to the first grounding spot the primary ground leads too?

I would leave the stock as is and just add to it.

You alway leave the stock wires. Just add the big 3

Done this part, already seeing less voltage fluctuation.
