2002 1.8t volkswagen jetta alternator

Ok guys, did the big 3, and finally after searching I've found out that I have a 90 amp alternator. I tested to see if I'd still get dimming with the 2 jl 12w3v2s and the dimming is still pretty harsh. What's the next best thing to do here?

bigger alt, or deep cycle battery/2nd battery.

When I put a YellowTop in my trunk it nearly stopped my dimming problems... worth a shot...

I'm sorry that I'm such a noob to all of this, but wouldn't a second battery not really matter if your alternator cannot keep it charged. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No, you are correct. Adding more things to an alternator that can't keep the stock system charged is not going to help things one bit.
