heard the kicker runs warm at rated impedance though. You would need a pretty good electrical to keep it cool...i think

Ran mine @ 1.4 with no heat problems. I had a Deka upfront and a G31 in the back 160a Alternator.

i didn't mean they get hot by any means, but they do run rather warm

i'd go with the crossfire vr2000d. it's rated 2000wrms at 2 ohms with only 12.5 volts. so at 14.4 like everyother amp is rated you'd have right around 2500wrms. and it's a super clean running amp. you should be able to pick one up for anywhere around 450 to 600 depending on who's selling it.

With a stock alternator on the Blazer ranging anywhere from 66Amps to 105amps, I think I may need to upgrade it or add a couple batteries.

best amp for the money is a kx or zx 2500.1. same board, pretty much same amp. hands down you will not get a better amp for the money
