2000 VW Golf

Is there any firewall on the vw golf. Because I cant seem to find one at all and on the passenger side inside the engine there is a shiny material which im thinking as has something to do with the heat from the engine.

Also under the dash on the driver side, there is a fuse rely type of thing, which has 8 ga wires hooked up to it and its running to the battery. Can I just hook up the power there for my amp.

there is a firewall in every car dude, and no, there is a gromet towrds the center of the dash that you need to go through man, good luck

Whats wrong with my question, I couldnt find one and really didnt want to drill a hole myself.

its a hole with a rubber ring around it, usually the size of about a 0 guage wire

above the gas pedal about 6" up, there is a perfect 0 guage hole to run any sort of shiza through. there should be a black pop-in cap that you can just push out and you can be a happy camper.

look a little harder next time.
