Car is located in Northern VA and is a 5-speed manual transmission, fantastic car for someone looking for a winter/daily driver to go with their Cobra/Saleen/Mach. This Ford Certified Mustang was bought in 2004 and I also purchased the 6-year 75k mile extended warranty which I never ended up using.
So...I'm thinking about selling my 3.8 and moving up to the 4.6 world....the car has 69,000 miles on it currently and has tons of work and money put into it. The paint condition is good, but the front bumper could use repainting (couple chips and bugs/etc), few small scratches here and there....nothing out of the normal wear and tear for a 7 year old car. Leather seats, power driver's seat, mach 460 was ripped out to install new system, but have OG parts.
The highlight of the car would definitely have to be the sound system, guaranteed to be one of the best you've ever heard in a Mustang (or any other car). Here is what I've put into the car:
GT hood (whole hood, not just scoop): $700
GT side scoops: $150
1" hubcentric wheel spacers, not installed yet: $80
HoodLift gas shocks: $100
Carbon Fiber shift knob: $100
Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs: $230
Kenny Brown Caster/Camber plates: $190
4 ADR Sterling 18" chrome rims: $1000
4 Pirelli Zero Nero M&S tires 245/40/18 with 36k mile Road Hazard warranty (only 10k miles on tires) - $800
Alpine 7998 head unit - $849 new, paid $400 for mine
CDT HD-62 component speakers w/ upgraded tweeters - $475
(2) Image Dynamics IDmax 12" subs - paid $500, $898 new (449 each
Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1 - $325
US amps 400x - $599 (I think?)
Custom 3 cubic foot box - $150
4 gauge and 8 gauge wiring kits - $80
62 square feet of Raammat sound deadening - $119
260A Dominick Iraggi alternator - $329
Hawker Odyssey gel cell battery - $105
1/0 gauge wiring for alternator/battery - $40
Shorty Antenna - $12
232 emblems sides and rear - $33
Mach 1 grille delete kit - $100
Smoked Clear Corner headlights w/ Silverstar bulbs - $230
I also have the stock tires/wheels, alternator, and battery. That is over $7,000 of aftermarket parts put into the car, and that doesn't even include labor (which I have well over $1,000 invested in). NADA currently has the car as valued at $6675 as a trade-in, so private party value would be around $7500. I would be asking $10k for everything, would anyone have any interest? Also taking offers not including audio system and rims. Interested in trading up for Cobra/Mach 1/Saleen or a nice GT.
