2000 chevy s10 ported wedge box design

Wondering what it takes to make a ported box. The box recomendation is 1.75 cb ft, the recomended port diamter (round) is 4" with a port length of 14.5".

So is it as easy as building the 1.75 cb ft box and cutting the 4" hole on the side or where ever it might be, putting the 4x14.5" tube inside the box (rounding the edges on both sides), and bracing it in?

No baffeling? just the tube going into the box?
