200$ 6.5" Comps

Hey guys, i'm looking to buy a new set of comps. I have alpine ones now, not sure what model, but they don't get loud enough for me and i'd much rather have the silk tweeter as i don't listen to much rap. I'd like the comps to handle around 150rms for the pair. I was looking into some CDT comps from djdilliodon, if you look in his profile, for around 200$ shipped.

I want it them to have as much bidbass as possibly and great tweets for rock.

^ yeah i've heard those Xenons are nice. I saw them at a shop and they looked pretty beefy

Those look SWEET. It says overall diameter is 7".... i don't get that?

How do you think the tweeters would sound up on my dash by my A-pillars against the windshield? I have holes for already, as i have alpines in there now. I'd like to have them swivel if possible, because i imagine it helps when you're able to aim them a bit. If not, then F that thought, lol. Are those tweets flush mountable?

You can get some Diamond Audio D6 comps for about $180 on ebay or if you look around you can find some old Hexs for under $200

Im not to fond of profile amps, but going off the specs it should work fine. I love my xenons.

Have you had experience with these? I'd just pick a set and go with them, but i've had almost 0 experience with any of these speakers.

I've heard many great things about CDT and ordering from djdilliodon.

I was thinking one of these two sets.

CL-62i/24 6.5" classic set with 560's and 1" silks for $175.00

Or:

EF-61cfi/24 carbon fiber components with all upgrades for $225.00

I'd go with the EF's if it's worth the $$.

I heard the MS6's are great and CDT is overrated. I'd go for the DLS MS6 myself. I have DLS Iridiums from tplaya05 on this forum coming today, he has good prices.

I don't have any experience with either though. But 2 forums recomended me the DLS when I asked for nice neutral sounding tweets.

I've decided to go with the CDT EF-61cfi/24 's after talking to some knowledgable people on AIM.

Screw cutting corners on an amp and regretting it later.... So i just bought a used NINe.4 amp that'll be sending the comps a good 150+x2.
