20" rims or 18" rims????

which one should i get?...im wondering if the extra 2" is really worth that much more. im looking at the 20"platinum diamond 6's, but might go with 18's. im going to match them up with either the 18" or 20" mega spinwheel kit. give me some ideas and opinions.

they will be going on a 1996 ford taurus. i just sold my other car so i have $3200.00 but only $2600.00 can go for rims. i found 4 20" platinum diamond 6's, 4 20" mega spinwheel spinners, and 4 20" nitto nt 555 ep 225/35-zr20 for $2306.00. the 18" package is about $1700.00

do the 18s on the tauras and juss lower it a lil and run a bigger tire. i hate hittin potholes in my tires. it juss scares the sh!t out of me, i hate worrying about damaging them or havin a flat tire.

Not true. Mine are 35's and I have yet to blow a tire. As long as you dont drive like an idiot, and go over railroad tracks at 40mph, then you will be fine.

But on the Taurus, I would say 18s.

Anyway DO NOT buy a spin kit.

I would not say the spinners are gay, just that a spin kit is gay. If you want some spinners, get rims that have the spinner fabricated on the inside of the rim, dont get some cheap spin kit.

Spinners still = teh gheyness.

If they were not so played they would be alright. But they are like running 17" rims. You just don't do it anymore...

18"s that's what I have on my car with 50series tires. Makes a smooth ride. My friend has a monte like mine he has 20"s with 30series on them, err not so smooth of a ride.

mayne...never put spinners on your car unless there real spinners. yea...it depends wat car you goin wit..some look right with 18's and some look right with 20's
