2 strapped opti2000D's or one opti4000D?

I swear to god this is the last question, but i'm seriously FRUSTRATED!!!

Hahaha, i thought i had it all sorted out, i was gonna get an opti4000D for my substage and an opti500x2 for my 8 ohm comps, but then....

I realize the 4000D is 800 + 30 for shipping,

and i can get 2 2000D's for $322 each plus $50 total for shipping.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

what should i do?

Price?

Performance?

Efficiency?

Sexiness?

BTW, both setups are rated @ 4000w rms @ 1 ohm, and both are regulated PS amps (my weakness //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif )

and i realize the 4000D actually does more like 4500 on 14.4v, but my electrical systems never gonna get there, so max power's not really my main priority.

I just wanna beat the piss out of some 15" type-args

If the 4000D is strappable I'd go that route...Once you get use to it you may want to add a 2nd...If not Id go with the two 2000D's Same power less money...

if i decide i need MORE, i could buy a 2nd alternator and maybe get rated power out of the 1st one....

plus, i don't have room to fit enough subs to swallow up 4500 or so watts....

i really want ~3000 watts.... and options for a 3kw regulated amp are sparse, if any, so the opti4000D seems to be my destiny
