Why not just get a 1000 watt amp? A lot of corner cutting...improper amps..improper wiring.. wonder what else is going on..

I don't understand what u mean. I have two 1000w amps (peak). if u could elaborate on whats corner cutting I would be happy to learn and fix things. Im new to this. do u think the 4 gauge going to a d-block, then 8 gauge to each amp, then each amp to a sub isn't the best choice? I don't have the money for the 0 gauge right now but do have the 4 gauge kit. if they are improper amps, which are sony, and my subs r kickers, should I dump the amps for proper ones? or ditch the subs for ones to match the amps? (sorry that was a lot to ask lol)

Don't sweat it.

Your two amps are fine.

It wouldn't be the best choice if you were starting from scratch, but you have them, they're working, it's all good.

Just because you're not doing it Nego's way doesn't make it wrong, or cutting corners.

It's unorthodox at worst, and unorthodox isn't wrong.
