That works for small sub's but the only proper,way to ship really heavy sub's is build a 2x4 and plywood crate that fits in that 16x16x16 box.
Apparently you were right. One sub made it in perfect shape. The second one came in looking like it got dropped off the loading dock, several times. Motor frozen and chips to magnets.
