OK
Well One thing I can say is the Orion will hit its advertised power if not more !
Both the PA and Orion are known for reliability. I have a 10yr Old HCCA 250 Digital Reference LOL.. It POUNDS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif for only being a 50w x 2 @ 4 ohm amplifier. He he cough cough cheat cough er cough amplifier.
If you go with an old HCCA Orion 2100D your going to be looking fairly at 2500W rms EASY .
First off ! THERE IS ALOTTTT to think about here. To power either amp , or if you take the PAIR of PA's you had better know your going to spend 200$ on just WIRE. Then to feed the amps , your gonig to look into a high end battery (100+$)
To top that off expect 2-300$ for a Hi Output alternator.
Or go the cheap route and buy 5 batteries which you have to charge all the time if you dont have a Hi output alternator.
So if your going to spend that much cash I am assuming you want to compete ?
ALL in all if you were not competeing I would not get a subwoofer that needs more than 1500Watts RMS, or a pair.
Many times over people who dont compete want the most... but little do they think about the additional cost of what it takes to run the setup they want.
You cant just slap 4000Watts in your car without spending almost 600$ in an electrical upgrade JUST TO SUPPORT THAT AMOUNT OF POWER.
So figure those two aspects in.
If your not competeing look into a lower amount of power application.
Things to think about !
