you didnt say aeros, that makes a diff too (unless i missed it) but you sure on the 2"?

ok im using freaking pvc pipe, and i assume i need to use 2 2" ports because i dont think a single 4" one will fit on the side (i might be wrong)

dude thats a teeny box 1.06 after ports, 2 2" 12.77 long, hope its for 2 8's or something

they suggest .6^3 ported each tuned to ~35hz

aeros add an inch so 11.77 long, 1 4 would be 24.31 long but it take up alot of displacement, brings it down to .916 after port, and you still have woofer displacement, actually i would need that to determine it correctly

a pair of 2'' ports does not equal one 4'' port

radius squared * pie * # of ports = circular port area

1*1*3.14*2= 6.28 sq in for a pair of 2'' ports

2*2*3.14*1= 12.56 sq in for a single 4'' port

Theres a HUGE difference.

i couldnt find displacement anywhere, their only 4.25" depth

i could just do a 1" slot port, but i thought aeros going out the side would be more DBz than a slot port firing into the back of my seat :/

the volum of the box is 1.109, you aernt gonna have room, sure you cant go anymore heigth?

Aeros are a great idea. But PVC is a lot different than aeroports. In my honest opinion, I don't think you'll have enough port area to keep port noise down. But I guess it all depends on how much power you're going to run. In my reg cab truck, I did a single 3'' aero in a 1.25 cube box and I got a lot of port noise...but I had 1000w on my sub. If you are running a low power application you might be able to get away with it.

ahh, i belive i can go longer? i got an old pic of where the box will go.

i think 14" might be my max because of that dang plastic piece.

i think i can go about 50"-55" i just wanted to make a beauty panel on the side for the amp mounting.
