2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan.= 500 watts to two subs?

when you wire them parallel you will get 0.5ohm load that amp says 1500@1ohm and 1000@2ohm but either way i think you should be fine. those subs are rated at 600wrms. But yeah each sub will see half the power. wire them in series you will get 2ohms. so yes what uour thinking is right

You should be fine. Wire the subs to 4 ohm a pc. and out parallel to the amp to get a 2 ohm load. Only other way is to wire each to ohm load out to the amp which would give you a 1/2 ohm load. And that amp isn't going to run at 1/2 ohm. If you're going to go with Hifonics go with the BRz not the HFi.

didnt i see this asked last night !!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

fvck double poasts!

ask the same question? LOL! the main question is " 2 ohms: 1000 watts x 1 chan.= 500 watts to two subs?" that is entirely different from the last thread i started in the amplifier section asking "What amp to get for Two/ 12"in P3's/ 2 Ohm / 500 watts rms Each"

i have answered my question from the last post and am now questioning if this amp could produce 500 watts to each sub

so you basically ask the same question ,hoping for a different answer.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/slap.gif.87520e8ca8e90076ac30e777c0de5331.gif
He kind of reminds me Candrew. Him and his WTB posts. He's in every fvking FS thread with "PM me your bottom dollar to Indianapolis" He changed his screen name but I still know it's him. Can't stand that shlt. Sorry. Needed to vent.

Ok. You're subs are DVC 2 ohm. You can wire these to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. That's it. Don't wire to 1 ohm as the amp you're getting won't take it and burn up and might take your subs with it. So that leaves 4 ohm. Wire the positive and positive together and out to the amp. Then wire the negative and negative together and out to the amp. This is called running the subs in parallel. It will pull a 2 ohm load from your amplifier giving you approximately 500 watts a sub.
