2 MJ 18's off a Bxi2607 (vids)

Nice, seeing this makes me want two MJ18's even more. Going to be doing two walled in my Civic, and was thinking about that same Hifonics amps. Do you see any voltage drops?
Lol definitely, not too bad though surprisingly, if I'm sitting at 14+ on low hard notes I'll drop into mid 12's, I can often stay at around 13 on long hard notes though

I'm probably gonna wall these and port them some day too, they're already pretty **** loud sealed though

that is sum nice door flex looks slammin bro. but with that electical im suprised that its still going.
haha same here, hopefully it does fine at least till I get a batt in the trunk, not showing any signs of going out on me anytime soon though suprisingly, in fact the amp has been behaving better now that I'm running 1600 instead of 800 or 1200:confused:

thanks man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it says on the vid descriptions, but a little under 3 cubes sealed each, probably more like 2.7 after sub displacement
Your install looks clean. The flex is

impressive too.

I think you may want to consider another woofer

with that size box. I modeled the MJ-18M in that enclosure,

and it's less than optimal.

I think 2 Dayton MKIII 15's in the same boxes modified for

15" woofers would absolutly stun you with the difference.

They offer the same impedance and power handling and price.

The Dayton is in Blue and the MJ in yellow. Notice that they intersect at

about 120Hz. Below 120Hz the Dayton will just rip your car apart.

I promise you will see the difference immediatly.

I did not go through this trouble to insult your install,

just to make a humble suggestion.

is that winisd? Mach 5 recommends 3 cubes sealed, and they're filled with polyfill so I'm sure they're seeing close to that, and I've never had a response curve anything like that when modelling them in 3 cubes or 2.5-3 cubes even so thats kind of strange to me

i miss my MJs....had the same setup 2 MJ18s in 6 cubes sealed off a sundown 1500D....i miss that setup...
when did they start putting logos on the caps?
only the 18M's have them (the new model)

in fact, I don't get anything that looks like the one you posted until I drop the enclosure to .1-.3 cubes lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
