hey guys i have two L7 10's and i was thinking about putting two t10001bd or two p10001bd's on it which do you think would be better for the cost and to run the two L7's to get the most out of them without blowing them. but keep in mind as well sometime down the road i will be upping it to 4 L7's

dual 4's and also i was thinking would it be just easier because i have right now powering them one fusion 2000 watt power plant should i just match it or go that original route or just go out and get a kicker 2500?

Is that the Fusion AM20001? If so, it's only rated for 1150w rms at 1 ohm, giving the subs right at their rated power handling. The 2500.1 would give approx the same power at 4 ohms as the Fusion at 1 ohm, so I'm not so sure this would be a worthwhile move.

If you can find an amp that would feed each sub around 750-900w rms, I think it'd be a nice upgrade.

yeah thats about what i want becasue right now thats what i have them at for one ohm at 1150. and thats like the minimum so i need a little bit more for them thast what i was considering the t1000 1bd which says 1000 at 1 ohm so that way i get more out of them. i just recently started to get into systems and dont know much but i do know some about them and im still learning.

^ ditto

I was under the impression it was an impossibility to wire two 2 ohm subs together to present an amp with a 2 ohm load. Maybe physics ceases to apply here?

will that give the two subs the 750 or higher a piece RMS
Yes indeed. Since you are limited to wiring both subs to a single amp at 1 or 4 ohms (or 2 separate amps at 2 or 8 ohms), an amp that can provide 1500-2000w rms at 1 ohm will be the most cost effective route.

Specs on the BXi2006D.

sundown 1500.1
Not a bad choice at all, if the OP can dish out the $600 price tag.

F/S thread FTW. usually is the 300-350 range on there
