2 Kinetik hc 800 or 1 Kinetik hc 1600

Trying to figure out what would be best for the overall performance of my amp

Should I go for 2 hc800s in the back or figure out a way to mount a HC 1600 under the hood?

Space is limited in the back.

What do you think?

Id personally match the batteries so if you can fit a 1800 under the hood put one in the back too......1400 under hood then the same in the back etc...that with a big 3 should be fine depending what your running.....

Mismatching batteries decreases their life span.....also a kinetik will outperform that red top. Id say find the kinetik that you can fit under your hood, sell the red top and purchase a matching kinetik for the trunk...

I got a stock batt under the hood and an 800 in the back. I COULD add a 1600 under the hood as well, OR add 2 800s in the back. what do you think would be best?

Id do one in the front and one in the back.....matching batts though.....same brand/rating etc.

I would recomend a sing 1600 under the hood, a second battery will present yet another load on the alternator and make it work harder (theoritically)

not really ,because the amp will pull power from the back battery first.if you are using the stock alt i'd just charge the batteries once a month to help keep the voltage up.and i would put the hc 1600 under the hood and as big of battery in the back as you can ,just same brand.so if a hc 1600 in frt then a hc 200 or 2400 in the back
