I have two 2008 version kicker l7s wired for 2 ohms ea with 0 gauge wires i have a lanzar 282 which is said to hit 4k max now i know that this might be a lie due to the rms being 2x300 at 4 ohm and 2x450 at 2 ohm but i dont think im getting enough power to them but im afraid to bridge them due to it saying that the max bridged is 4k the rms however is 900 which would be perfect my question is am i safe to turn it to max power and bridge it or if it spikes to the 4k will it blow my subs or will it most likely never spike that high? and if it does happen on an off chance will it blow them lol

4000 was a number randomly chosen by Lanzar's marketing geniuses. They could have chosen 2000 and it would still be a lie.

It has a pair of 35A fuses which puts it in line with a quality 700-800w amp.

I would be surprised if it's capable of even 1000w dynamically.

Don't turn it to "max power". The gain is not a power control. It's there to match the amp input sensitivity to the voltage being delivered by the HU. Depending on your HU's preamp strength, and with a sentivity of 1/4-5v the amp may reach its optimal power output with the level (gain) no more than 50%.

A strong preamp signal COULD drive the amp to full power with the level setting at "min".

so i bridged it and tuned it to the best of my ability with the gain at 3/4 i was driving it to test it i got out of my neighborhood and i turned the volume to 25 out of i believe 60 and my subs go out i thought they clipped then they never came back on so i thought i blew them went home and checked the amps 35 fuses and both were blown anyone know why? i have both negatives in a single negative position and both positives in the positive where they belong to be bridged.

also does anyone know if my capacitator says to wire it to the power antena on my radio do i have to wire it to the or can i wire it to the same wire that my amp is on?

o and my back right speaker in my car is making a high pitched beep the entire time the volume is higher than 0 on my radio also when the volume is higher than 0 i can it fluctuates the beep when i give it gas it goes up and when i dont it goes back down when i unplug the RCA cable it stops any suggestions?

so wired in paralell.....
so you bridged it to a 1ohm load......

There is your problem. That amp isnt even stable at a 2ohm mono load, let alone a 1ohm load. Rewire them for series and bridge them at 4ohm
Or run one sub on each channel at 2ohms... probably what I would do...

The funny thing is that they even made the amps to look big.. that thing is 21" long.. lol

Another prime example is the '1400watt' lanzar vibe amp I use for components in one of my cars... it puts out a good amount of power for mids/highs, but it's bigger then the real 1500watt amp mounted next to it.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

so i can just run a wire from the black terminal on the right side of the box to the red on the left then run a wire from the red terminal on the right to the amp and one from the black terminal on the left to the amp and run it paralleled voice coils but series woofers right? that way i dont have to rewire the subs in the box? would it make a difference which way i wire them as long as its a 4 ohm bridge?
