2 Kicker L7 15s In Tahoe, need placement ideas

Ok I will be getting a tahoe soon, trying to find one I like, well I have 2 Kicker l7 15s and I plan on building a big box for the back, It will be all the way accross and tall up to the seat top and almost to the back, I wont have measures yet till I get it, but I plan on building a common chamber with 1 slot port, now I heard facing the subs back port back sounds the loudest In a suv, Is this true and would it be best to run the port on the bottom runing left to right, I was thinking I may do a changeable port 1 32hz 1 40hz or 42hz

You can do both back, or subs up and port back(most common).

I'd say subs up and port back, but there are a lot of variables...I'd guess that they wouldn't be very far apart as far as loudness goes.
