2 Kicker L5 10" Ported Box in SUV.....?

My buddy wants to do a ported enclosure in his 4runner.

Space is pretty much unlimited hehe...

Anybody have any designs or knowledge on what a good vented box for 2 10" Kicker L5's would be around 35-38hz.....

Back from the past.

Looking to build an enclosure for 2 10l5's and will be going into a Suburban. Any of you have pics or suggestions on how to accomplish this, maybe links? I'm trying to get ideas on to making one. Which type will sound better, sealed or ported?

well you should definately do a ported box, i had my 2 12 L7's in a sealed before i got a ported box, and there is no doubt my ported box not only got louder but sounds much better too...

nothing close to unlimited space.

This is one I have built a few time's. From 3/4", and .25^3ft for sub and bracing displacement.

14"H x 32"W x 24"D, 4.964^3ft gross box vol. Slot port, 12.5" x 4" x 23.8"long@35Hz. After all displacement, 3.991^3ft net vol. From what clients have told me, it hits very well, clean and tight. If I can help, please feel free to contact me any time.
